I lived in my Chevy express for about 8 months while I was a bus driver. I decided to go ahead and get my class a cdl (passed my road test & skills yesterday) to go otr and make a life and a living from a truck! So excited!
I am increasingly realizing minivans are fabulous.
If anyone is looking for those rain guards in an auto store, they are also called wind guards. Sometimes having the wording a bit different helps.

Lol hearing her describe her process of 4 Bed home today efficiencies to part time to full time van life, Plus the keys on a lanyard around her neck - I knew she was a nurse without needing her to say it. Nurses are great at planning, executing plans, and also at finding creative solutions (like her fans). Great video!

Speaking from car camping experience as a solo gal, the first time I car camped in the Taos woods, about 1-1:30 a.m. a creep knocked on my window asking if I was okay. It was petrifying. I didn't have my gun with me, but will never make that mistake again. Have a gun! My windows were darkly tinted so I faked that I wasn't alone in my Honda Fit. I said, "Oh, WE are fine. Thanks for checking." Thank God, the creep went away. He did not care if I was okay. He was a criminal. HAVE A REAL GUN AND DO NOT BE AFRAID TO SHOOT.

My sister told me to make sure to always have a self starter jumper cable number one in car.
Honestly the way prices and things keep going, car life isn't looking too bad. I had done it temporarily during c0vid with a large dog. She has a good set up and the bathroom/ shower issues aren't as bad as ppl let on. It's true you don't need a lot to live
My Kovea Cupid heater got me thru an entire Michigan winter with no more than 2 cans a bad night. If you're in a minivan or astro, etc. Get a Kovea Cupid heater!

Thank you, Autumn and Tina. I like the simple and light steup. For one person the minivan platform is just enough. It can still blend, in town or out camping. Minivans drive and handle great and have decent fuel economy. They are one of the lower maintenance costs platforms too. Minivans save you so much in fuel, you can easily pay for a truck stop shower when you purchas gas ans still spend less than just putting fuel in a class b. A minivan is my secret weapon for low budget travel. 😂, Bob Wells books... I finally got a copy of both of his books signed so I would quit giving them away, well that also helped me nerved up to having a short conversation with him. His original book is really is a great resource for people just starting out or even weekenders. Thank you for the tour of Tina's awesome rig.

When the safety question came up, as a nurse I laughed. I bet she dealt with far more dangerous situations inside a hospital that she will ever encounter on the road! Glad she has safety gear and situational awareness!!
