Hey, another Ikea hack for you: You may be able to get hardware (the brackets) for free! It depends on what the brackets came out of, but there are a whole load of spare parts available at their service counter that are not available for purchase online. You just explain to them what the product is, and what part you need, and in my experience they seem to have most spares, though for some discontinued items they may not. If you are an Ikea Family member, I think the parts are free.
Where did you get your light weight ply from? That’s seems to be a good price per sheet.

Fantastic IKEA hacks thanks for sharing these are very helpful. Jubilee clip? No one in the states knows what a “jubilee clip” is here it’s a hose clamp. And you make everything look real easy cause you are an artisan craftsman but we can be inspired by that and give our best attempts to copy what you do so eloquently.

Check for clog in faucet. Aerator in spout or in water supply coming in.
Skorva brackets are available everywhere, just weirdly it seems not from ikea. I've even seen them on Aliexpress. If I ever do another van though I'll be using extruded aluminium so I can design the bed to occasionally fold away.

What height did you do your bed at to clear the mountain bikes? - i have the Citroen relay and toying with your idea of the ply to make the brackets higher. Can you still sit up in bed?
I use the Ikea bed things. Had to make brackets music as couldn't get the original ones 😕
