Removing that seat is going to be a game changer, if it's not working than you got to change it, you can change it as much as you need too. I think the last change was before you got Ranger and now you have his needs to design the build around as well. I have a van I'm building out, and I'll be traveling with 3 dogs (that is why I purchased the biggest van), and one needs to be crated, so I need to build it for them as well as for myself, that's just how it is when you have a pet(s), don't apologize to others for making you camper more comfortable for you and Ranger.

Im finally, finally very happy with my build. I keep considering maybe taking front seat out also..but only if I finally get a scooter!! But for now, its so very comfortable ...hope you get it the way you want!!
