God bless that little boy, eating strawberries, God bless Tony, with deliverance from sickness and disease, please Lord in the name of Jesus heal his body and make him well, and your name Jesus I pray amen 🙏
I think you’re gonna have to plant a strawberry patch just for Ira! 😊
I just love how much Matt appreciates your cooking!!!
They look so good!!! My husband’s parents had the best strawberries. His dad brought them from his parents garden. When his dad died his mother ripped them out because she said it was so much work to harvest and for me to put up. I understand, but boy we grieved over those strawberries. We haven’t found good strawberries since them. It was sweet to hear you remembering your first blog. I started following you about that time. I remember Chitter & Chatter❣️You have done a wonderful job bringing awareness about Appalachia cooking, words and music. A whole new generation of people finding out how great it is❣️

Those look delicious Tipper. Ira is talking so well now! I could understand everything he said, especially his complaint that his strawberry was dirty and it needed wiped off! So adorable! 💕
Oh Ira!!!!!! I love that little sweet voice!!!!
Oh, Tipper! They will be the next thing I’ll bake. I love strawberries, so this will, definitely, be good!🙏❤️🇨🇦
I bet it does your heart good for your grand kids to be enjoying what you grow?
Love fresh picked strawberries!
Those scones look outstanding. Nice to use home grown strawberries. It’s also nice to have a grandson to enjoy them. Great memories to appreciate later in life.
I love all fresh fruit. These are going to be on my list to bake next. Thank God they fixed my a/c today, so now I can put the oven on and not worry about it. It's been broke for 3 days. Of course, it's been 91° for those 3 days. I'm like Matt, love summer but hate humidity, lol. Have a great night. ❤🙏
Honestly if I wanted to learn how to grow and care for strawberries. I would ask Meg&Andy at True Grit: Appalachian Ways. They have the prettiest strawberry plants I’ve about ever seen and have been harvesting tons of strawberries. My grandpa always said. If you want to learn to grow corn. Ask the fella with corn in his crib.
The strawberry dessert looks so good. That Stamey creek boy loves him some Strawberries. Good job ! Tipper
Congratulations! Enjoy the fruits! Stay safe, gang!
The Most High planted for me a wild blackberry bush, I found with such glee, I praised him and thanked him, so the next year discovered a second elderberry not to far from the original( hidden within a bunch of dead timber. Every year it gets exciting to see what the Good Lord has planted for me, he has added midicinals as well, yarrow was recently added to my pleasure. I am even more delighted this year you see for strawberries everywhere he has planted for me, mowing has become fun, I have no complaints, and thankfully back where they grow is not as easy to see. I Love the Gifts he gives to me, I feel so undeserving of all of his blessings.
Everything looks good as always. My grandmother was the strawberry expert in my family. Growing up as con scribed labor I have picked, raked pine straw for mulch and eaten many time my weight in strawberries. Grandmother froze quarts every season in a sugar syrup and through out the winter they would reappear on the table to be eaten with a slice of poundcake or tea cakes and often just a simple bowl full. I still follow her example.
Golly Tipper, that looks delicious! I have a lot of great memories growing up as a child. And I even have more fond memories now with you all in my life.😊❤
Those look great! I LOVE Strawberries, Megan from Tru Grit Appalachia made Strawberry Biscuits with a glaze the other day that looked good also. ❤
I’m growing wild strawberries for the first time this year.
