Wales is a new European country for our vlog (# 37) in our quest to visit and VLOG every country in Europe! To start our trip through this beautiful country, we spent the day exploring Tenby, Wales, a cozy seaside town located in Pembrokeshire county. From colorful harbor views and medieval walls to puffins (!!), Welsh cakes, boat rides, and one of our BEST heavy metal doggo montages ever, this ended up being one of our favorite days in Wales. And look at that sunshine! We started the morning with coffee and Welsh cakes at The Dennis Cafe before heading down to Tenby Beach and hopping on a boat tour around the coast. Then came the highlight of the day… PUFFINS. 🐧 After getting back on land, we grabbed lunch at Harbwr Brewery, wandered through the pastel-colored streets of Tenby, tried fudge and more Welsh cakes (because, why not?!), explored St. Mary’s Church, walked along the old city walls, climbed up to Castle Hill for the views, and wrapped up the day with dinner at Billycan. If you’ve never heard of Tenby before… same. But this tiny seaside town completely surprised us and was the perfect way to start our trip through Wales. If you missed last week's vlog, see just how we got from London to Tenby in this vlog here: https://youtu.be/wPjGam7DA9A And be sure that you're subscribed and come back next week to continue our trip through Wales as we head to the capital city of Cardiff. #wales #tenby #welshfood #tenbywales #americansineurope #travelvlog ✼ Would be cool to see you over here ✼ Patreon - https://www.patreon.com/nateandkatrina Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/nateandkatrina Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/nateandkatrina TikTok - https://www.tiktok.com/@nateandkatrina Threads - @nateandkatrina Twitter - Meh Ⓝ + Ⓚ ⇉ 🌏 ✼ ABOUT US ✼ We are Nate and Katrina, two Americans living in Amsterdam, The Netherlands and traveling as much as we can to see what there is to see! Thankyou for visiting Gods country I wish more Americans visit my country of Wales and not just London
You should have buttered the Welshcake and had a cup of tea with it.
No plums in welsh cakes. Usually currants or sultanas
I was brought up in Tenby. Has great childhood there. Loved winter without the tourists but understand that nowadays they are the local economy’s lifeblood. Pleased you enjoyed your visit.
Should of gone to Caldey island , it's run by monks , but it's stunning worth a look ,
I'm from Tenby, us in Wales are definitely not ENGLISH, we have a wonderful coastline, incredible scenery and extremely friendly people have a good trip.
Harbwr is literally harbour in Welsh, its not a play on words. The 'w' is a vowel in Welsh and the close to a 'oo' pronunciation in English (in most circumstances.
I know I’m biased but Wales is such a beautiful country. 🏴
Lovely video. I love watching our American cousins exploring Cymru.
In UK we love our cats and dogs and that's,why you'll see them everywhere
My gran on my dad's side was Welsh-American, named Roberts. Tenby looks wonderful - cute architecture and divine eats. Thanks for showing us
I don’t understand it, a quality, comprehensive , and well produced video made by Americans! No dumb remarks about no fast food or theme parks! Restores your faith a little.
First of all, 'croeso' to you and thank you for visiting! I haven't been to Tenby in so long and it was great to have a look at a town that is loved by many. You are welcome back anytime but if you needed any new places when you come back then let me know! All the best you guys!
No cities around Tenby!!😂
I live by tenby i love living in wales
You should have visited the other island caldy it's magical to walk around.😊
Looks like the weather was kind to you ! Nice to see North Americans seeing more of Britain than just London ! This island certainly has a lot more to offer than that.
Tenby has a reputation as one of the sunniest places in Wales.
So glad you both had a good time in Tenby and you were lucky with the weather too. We get a lot of rain throughout the year in my home country of Wales. Best of luck on your future journeys around the UK and Europe. I will be watching for sure.
We live in South Wales 55 miles from Tenby, it rains more days than we have dry days and the phone signal or lack of it can be frustrating so god help those EV owners who need a connection when trying to charge their cars and parking can be a nightmare, on the positive side we love it.😃 We moved down here 24 years ago from the North West of England, no regrets.❤ Great vlog both.😍
