The fact that Arin is doing the things written on screen is an indication that he already knows what to do. If this was the first time, he would be yelling about not knowing what to do and demanding to know why nobody told him how. It's funny that Dan is talking about the "acting/actor" thing. I have a quote from him saved on my computer about how you're not an aspiring artist or an aspiring writer. You're an artist. You're a writer. Own that shit. Holy shit, the callbacks. "It's not okay! Dan knows what's going on, Arin DEFINITELY knows what's going, and both of them being like "what are you talking about" has the same tension as Shirogane and Kaguya in Kaguya-Sama: Love Is War
