For anyone who didn't catch it in the video: The game didn't get past Steam's usual game verification process. The hackers got into an existing developers account and updated an already-approved game to include the malware. This seems like an exceptionally rare scenario, since it's normally pretty hard to get into a developer's account [ there's 2-step authentication etc ]

Glad I have almost nothing valuable on my PC, so even if it was compromised, hackers wouldn't get anything useful. Rob yourself before others can rob you.
