Hi Corry. You're probably reading this right now. What's really REALLY funny about you using my RE0 video as a walkthrough is... I always say "please watch the entire video before trying any of these strategies for yourself". That RE0 video is the very reason I started putting that disclaimer on every one of my videos unless I was in a turbo rush to get it out. If you did, you'd realize my video was actually a limited NG+ run. Everyone who followed along with that run tit for tat like you did had the exact same problem. Sorry you didn't find the SMG dude, but it seems like you have bigger problems now!

I'm the guy Trance is speaking with starting from 19:53 and the one who made the RE7 Madhouse++ mod (the mod's name nods to how the programming language C++ markets itself as the better version of C, though the name is pretty silly in hindsight). I usually don't comment on videos, but seeing a few people genuinely defend Corry here feels unfair and irrational to me. Completing difficult challenge runs takes a long time and a lot of effort. That's how I designed Madhouse++ too. The entire point of these runs is that they're supposed to require patience, consistency, game knowledge, and persistence. If somebody shortcuts that process through cheating while presenting the runs as legitimate, then of course people are going to care. So much for the "Who cares?" argument. And the "it's just singleplayer games anyway" argument completely misses the point. Nobody cares because he cheated against AI zombies. The issue is that he built a reputation around skill and challenge runs while presenting cheated runs as genuine without explicitly disclosing it, while others work their ass off for these challenges legitimately. Someone also called this a "witch hunt" against Corry. A witch hunt means inventing accusations without evidence because people personally dislike someone. Here, the criticism exists because there is clear evidence and because people are responding to his own actions. Pointing out obvious cheating is not a witch hunt. I think this is the right thing to do. Corry's actions are a shame for the RE modding community.
