Sony's greatest mistake was relocating headquarters from Japan to California.
Sony has learned their lesson. Instead of releasing 20 live service games they will now release 15.
The profits will decline until morale improves.
I'm so jaded by Western Studios that it's way more enjoyable watching them fail than playing their games. Keep going, Sony. I have plenty of popcorn.

I told everyone 2 months ago that Marathon would be at 15,000 peak players in a couple months and they all told me I was an angry, perpetually online, maidenless hater, and that there was no way that was going to happen. Well, I might be angry and womanless, but I only spend maybe 50% of my day online, and in today's economy, that just proves I can afford an internet connection. And would ya just look at it, Marathon beat my expectations by an entire 5,000 players, sitting at 10,000 peak players over the last week or so. Truly a success story. /s

The fact that Bungie is STILL putting most of their eggs in the Marathon basket is PROOF that Pete Parsons was NOT the only problem. Edit; no one from Bungie ever criticized his leadership decisions. The only criticism was that he was milking the company dry for his personal wealth. They didn't him buying dozens of cars while laying people off, but they DID like him canceling D3 development.
"You can not build your future while treating the people who decide it like an afterthought." Hell yeah dude.
If they wanna survive the next generation, then they'll need to move the headquarters back to Japan
