I think the warriors should play the new Perth team at magic round every year creates abit of a new rivalry and limits travel for the 2 teams that will travel the most
Man this idea that Metcalf was the halfback messiah last year is a revisionist fairytale. We were top four with a single digit PD when he went down. Our attack was a clunky mess last year, and Metcalf was steering the ship
Today I made the mistake of starting this episode in the car with my 4 and 3 year old. We lasted 2 minutes and 58 seconds after “fucken awesome” by Mase and now I have to explain to my wife why they are saying fucken awesome. Great ep. Better alone.
Billy picks his sides based on habits. Because a player falls into their habits, good and bad, when fatigue starts setting in. I believe Billy doesn’t just look for habits in Queenslanders but New South Welshman as well. Billy builds the Maroons game plan off of exploiting habits in key Blues players. Biggest examples are Yeo and Cleary, specifically their connection. If you rush Cleary outside in after he’s got the ball off Yeo looking to put some shape on Nathan will turn the ball back under as the play is no longer an option. At club level the Panthers can go back to the well or exploit a weakness elsewhere, but at Origin level there’s far few opportunities and nearly no weaknesses. If Yeo ball plays like at Penrith and distributes to Nathan to exploit space out wide Queensland will rush him outside in, forcing an under ball, and thus negating any potential chance NSW could have exploited out wide. When those chances present themselves once, maybe twice, a game NSW cannot afford to squander them by having a habit in Clearys game easily exploited by the Maroons. Madge noticed this thus why Murray played Lock and Yeo played as a Front Rower. Laurie unfortunately didn’t realise this last series and Queensland went on to another unlikely series victory.
Has everyone forgotten QLD smacked NSW in 2025 origin… in Sydney… without Reece Walsh on the field 🤣
dogs are terrible OG
I think the warriors super power is we dont need the guy, they all do their jobs and all hold accountability. They are all the guy.
Dylan Edwards does all the little things right, but James Tedesco is the guy that blows a game open
As a wahs fan I don’t want to hear no complaining about missed calls . We’ve been on the wrong end of it for years and never got the “the ref decided this game” treatment .
Hey lads, Kurt Capewell played for the jets around 2015. The same time Ben and Shane Walker were coaching, so Sam would have been a kid cruising around Jets training when Capewell was playing there as well.
Tom chester and jaxon purdue deserve a spot, they have an attacking mind walsh could use
I'm a NSW supporter and over the moon that Walsh, Clifford and Finefeuiaki aren't playing.
Clown Klien is back and picked for origin after that shitshow God help us all
Scope is a proper student of the game. He even knows which cliques players run in. The Russel, Arthur and Russel clique. 😂
Can anyone tell me how Sam Walker got the pick over Clifford? Clifford’s a big body in the middle, has a big boot and can kick a team out of danger, Can defend, has a running game, can catch the ball in the air, has a silky pass when needed. I don’t see the downside in choosing him over Walker.
I think Picking TMM. Metcalf can start in cup and try get some gamss in and slowly get him into it.
Wahs fan here, not furious at all about Metcalf leaving and not seeing that much fury from other fans, regardless I go TMM.
Nah bro don’t do that to us don’t say Klein decided the result please skip 😭😂 the wahs mana decided the result we dominated them
Cowboys vs rooster breakdown analysis from your resident cowboys analyst. This may have been the strongest defensive display I have seen under Todd ball. What I said last week about the game came true. This game was dominated by errors from the roosters, the first half was similiar to the cowboys against manly. The middles of the roosters were extremely strong and dictated the distance the cowboys went out of yardage. Shout out to Whyte who was so good. The backs from the roosters let them down but they did lose there wingers throughout this game. Cowboys, it’s time to talk. This should be the staple of every week. Stromg defense through the middle even when they had 12 men for 20 minutes and held one of the best attacks at almost full strength to 2 tries. I’m beyond impressed and happy with this performance and look towards the bunnies this week But I must talk about the referring. I regardless of the result try to leave out the ref of the game but this week was too much for me to skip. The Matt lodge sin bin was maybe make up for the Chester challenge and it was slightly high so I’ll give that a pass. But the blatant match fixing to get the roosters across the line was disgraceful. So many infringements and then the atrocity of the cotter sin bin. The bunker was not on par That was the breakdown from your resident cowboys analyst
Laurie said Ford only plays middle? He played edge at Dragons. If he wanted versatility, then why was Saifiti selected? Also, is Terrell May in the bad books for NSW?
