The Cubs are a billion dollar institution, I don’t feel bad that someone’s making some cash at their expense, especially since it only takes away a few hundred potential ticket buyers at most.

I think if they had kept it a little more low-key maybe the Cubs wouldn't have been as curious about it, ya? Looks like they spent a lot of 💵 on it tho! Good for them for fixing it up tho!! Their neighbors might get involved if the ballpark tries to obstruct the view & ☀ I hope they get to keep it as is!!!⚾️

It's not like the seats are behind home plate or directly behind the dugout. And as a person who's been able to sit on the rooftop once, MANY years ago, I might add, that the food provided is closer and far superior. The rooftop food is quite delicious and (as far as Chicago goes) reasonably priced.
Longer than that, it use to be a bunch of people standing on the roof top. They put in those seats & started charging later.
