The Cubs are a billion dollar institution, I donβt feel bad that someoneβs making some cash at their expense, especially since it only takes away a few hundred potential ticket buyers at most.
If they donβt like it, put up a wall. π
Why the sudden lawsuit? Those Rooftop seats have existed for at least 20 years.
This was a while ago, the Cubs have bought out most buildings, and two of the remaining ones have a fat scoreboard in front.
Right to be...right to see...case closed. Let's not overly complicate this
Yeah alright man. This sounds a lot like βu canβt film me from that public sidewalkβ
That sounds like a good deal comparatively to the price of going to the stadium
"great view of the cubs game" Dudes are selling $10 nosebleeds for $150
So what. It's a better deal to sit on the roof and more people get to watch the game.
If stadiums don't want people looking in from the outside, they should enclose the stadium, otherwise they can kick rocks.
F them...... you make enough flippin money.
I think if they had kept it a little more low-key maybe the Cubs wouldn't have been as curious about it, ya? Looks like they spent a lot of π΅ on it tho! Good for them for fixing it up tho!! Their neighbors might get involved if the ballpark tries to obstruct the view & β I hope they get to keep it as is!!!βΎοΈ
I have sat up there before itβs pretty nice
They own the property. They have the property right to charge people money to access it
Good for them!
Itβs in public view. The only way I see this not getting smacked down in court is it being Chicago. Their judges are jokes
It's not like the seats are behind home plate or directly behind the dugout. And as a person who's been able to sit on the rooftop once, MANY years ago, I might add, that the food provided is closer and far superior. The rooftop food is quite delicious and (as far as Chicago goes) reasonably priced.
Longer than that, it use to be a bunch of people standing on the roof top. They put in those seats & started charging later.
My cousin just got contracted to build a wall blocking it
BUILD A REAL STADIUM!!! Y'all didn't even have lights until the late 80s!!
