Bad coaching. Embarrassing your team in that situation is horrible. Sometimes you are tired with bad teams, but that’s not how you fix it.

That’s kind of embarrassing for the other team too, this is not good coaching

I played up against a team like this and before the second set, their coach made them run laps on their side of the court

For everyone saying this is bad coaching has never enjoyed playing a competitive sport. I play basketball along with other sports and my coaches most definitely will do this and it’s because they know you can do better so they’re pushing you. This can only make you better if you really try and it makes you try in the first place because you know what’s gonna happen if you don’t. Now I’m not saying you can’t have off days or bad games cuz that’s just part of sports but this is a productive coaching technique
