This type of detail will make every single subsequent movie much easier to make as well. Such an amazing work or art

They even say Lego. Usually Lego doesn't have that in their animation and games

Now that I think about it, I bet the 3d modelers, riggers, and animators all had a blast

I swear this movie just feels like an indie project made as a love letter to Lego stop motion, yet this is actually a love letter to lego stop motion that's by a multi billion dollar company, it doesn't seem believable that a compant helped make this.

"The lasers are lightsaber blade pieces" I remember recognizing this immediately when I first watched the movie, because I did this myself when setting up lego star wars battles.

Lego had even pointed out to animators the seam on Emmett's hair. Because Legos are typically made with injection molds, and that hair peice usually shows the seam really well

It kinda blows my mind how much animation progressed from 1995 to the early to mid 2010. A movie like this and wreck it ralph and monsters uni. They were so beautiful to me as a tween and older kid. Now im a whole ass adult. And knows a little more history and how animation works. It blows my mind even more how much progression we had within like a 20 year span
