I was severely disappointed when Mtho and Wami said depression is a choice. They seem well informed, but they are clueless on this subject. They also treated depression as just one thing, but it is not. There are different types of depression, and if you have experienced it at a lighter level, you cannot compare yourself with someone who has chronic depression. Chronic depression is linked to the malfunction of the brain in producing the happy hormone. Their body malfunctions, either from birth or later in life. It is not a choice. If it was a choice, then I guess people who are born with down syndrome need to be strong. They're need to have the willpower to cure it.
