Stephen Colbert kicks off his final week at The Late Show with a special episode that shines a light on comedy bits that were too stupid, too messy, and too outrageous to make it onto the show over the past eleven seasons. Watch as Stephen rolls out graphics, field pieces, and character sketches that should never have been televised in any form, culminating in the "worst" musical number in The Late Show history. #Colbert #Comedy #TheWorstofTheLateShow #MichaelKeaton #Pigeons #Graphics #ItsRainingMen #ItsRainingFish #PaulShaffer #TheCBSOrchestra #EdSullivanTheater #StephenColbert #TheLateShow Subscribe To "The Late Show" Channel: http://bit.ly/ColbertYouTube Watch full episodes of "The Late Show": http://bit.ly/1Puei40 Listen to "The Late Show Pod Show" podcast: https://link.chtbl.com/Awagtx95?sid=yt Like "The Late Show" on Facebook: http://on.fb.me/1df139Y Follow "The Late Show" on X: http://bit.ly/1dMzZzG Follow "The Late Show" on Instagram: http://bit.ly/29wfREj Watch The Late Show with Stephen Colbert weeknights at 11:35 PM ET/10:35 PM CT. I appreciate that Stephen basically utilized this episode to highlight all the great work his team has done, knowing they will be looking for work soon. Class act.
God, I hate that this is the last week. CBS…you FAILED.
This is so sad. My husband and I loved to watch Stephen Colbert together. Unfortunately my husband passed away last weekend. He would have loved watching this. I'm watching it knowing that he is with me, laughing his ass off! Thank you for all of the chuckles Stephen. ✌🇨🇦🤣😢🥰
What a nice sendoff for his staff. Very classy to devote an hour to them. A very bittersweet week. We love you Stephen and we love all the crew!
“it should just be one file” – legend shit
Screw CBS!
Actually hearing the band jam like they do during a break is special! Love it!
This feels so surreal. I'm still in denial. However, I know that he's going to land on his feet, and continue to be such a bright light in these dark times. ✨️💛
Paramount: cancelled.
CBS you’re going to regret letting go of Stephen Colbert
I clicked on this video without realizing how long the video was. I love that he’s showcasing his staff. We need these people booked and busy!
Seeing Paul Shaffer for some reason just made it so very real for me that not only is Stephen going away, but so is The Late Show. I’m 42 years old. I began watching as a 10-year-old because David Letterman was from Indianapolis, where I was born, and I remember thinking it was so cool to watch someone from where I’m from. Over the years, The Late Show with David Letterman became part of my weeknight routine (gotta love the TV in the bedroom and lots of knocks on the door saying, “Turn the TV off and go to bed” 😂). I cried the night Dave signed off for the final time, but continued to watch as Stephen put on those shoes. This time, I was 32 and beginning my new viewing journey with Colbert. The show wasn’t the same Late Show that Letterman left. It was something different, but something we needed. Trump was becoming more and more of a threat to actually become a candidate, and that fear needed to be softened somewhere. In came Stephen, who cracked jokes about Trump and took the edge off what would turn out to be a very grim time in U.S. history. The Late Show became what I needed again in my life, but for something completely different than when I was 10. It became a way for me to laugh at things that scared me. When Trump did something stupid, I couldn’t wait to watch The Late Show to hear how Stephen would make fun of it. This has happened for 11 years. Now, unfortunately, Trump found a way to silence Stephen and part of my comic relief, but I will continue to go where Colbert goes, and I will continue to watch the Strike Force Five members, who will continue doing what Paramount stupidly ended. I, in turn, will end my relationship with Paramount by canceling my subscription the minute Stephen signs off for the last time. To Paramount… I hope you feel the strong sting of a faithful audience whose laughter was stolen by a narcissist and a spineless billionaire corporation that couldn’t find the decency to stand up for what’s right. And to Stephen Colbert… thank you for being a light in what ended up being such a dark time in our nation’s history. I hope whatever you have planned beyond this point is amazing. Sincerely, A loyal fan of The Late Show and you.
I hope on the last show you don't pause for commercial breaks. Make CBS pay for the entire last show.
Showing the crew and the band love is a wonderful way to kick off the last week of the show.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU TO THE WHOLE STAFF FOR BRINGING US JOY!!! WE LOVE YOU ALL! THANK YOU, COLBERT!!!
Louis Cato and the Great Big Joy Machine KILLED IT TONIGHT
A trusted voice and a fantastic show. Thanks to the crew for 11 years of awesome.
One of the best things on this particular episode is that we get to hear more of the band! Fantastic!
Full episodes on YouTube ❣️ what a blessing
Loving this DGAF attitude and just raw-dogging the whole episode. The epitome of just running out the clock during your final week at work. I hope this whole week is like this.
