Justin Hilliard delivers his long-term review of the Zeekr 7X RWD mid-size SUV to see how it handles the daily needs of Australian families. This entry-level variant features a single rear motor producing 310kW and 440Nm, powered by a 75kWh LFP battery that provides a 480km WLTP driving range. The video explores the three-tier local range, including the Long Range RWD and flagship Performance AWD, to determine where the best value lies. The evaluation covers the distinctive exterior design and a tech-heavy interior equipped with a 16-inch touchscreen and 13-inch digital instrument cluster. Practicality is a major focus, with Justin testing the 539L boot, 62L front trunk and rear doors that open to 90 degrees for easier child seat access. He also shares driving impressions on local roads to assess how the 800V architecture and 450kW DC fast charging capability perform in real-world conditions. This review weighs the Zeekr 7X against its primary competitors, the Tesla Model Y, Kia EV5 and BYD Sealion 7. By examining the standard safety suite, ownership costs and cabin refinement, Justin provides a clear picture for buyers navigating the crowded electric SUV market. #Zeekr #7X #Review -- Timecodes: 00:00 Intro 00:32 Like 1 – High value 01:30 Dislike 1 – Annoying key fob 02:15 Like 2 – Luxurious interior 03:06 Dislike 2 – Obstructed touchscreen 03:45 Dislike 3 – Hard air-vent adjustment 04:14 Like 3 – Sensible storage 06:12 Like 4 – Balanced ride and handling 07:59 Dislike 4 – Weak regenerative braking 08:35 Like 5 – Real-world driving range 09:17 Like 6 – Fast charging 09:49 Dislike 5 – Short warranty 10:16 Verdict -- Read Justin's full review: https://bit.ly/49O99Ft Check out our Zeekr 7X hub: https://bit.ly/4nCrpr9 Find more SUVs: https://bit.ly/3QVs1X1 Visit our EVGuide: https://bit.ly/3UHO9GT -- CarsGuide - Go beyond the test drive Visit our website for News, Reviews, Advice and more: https://www.carsguide.com.au Subscribe to our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/carsguide Like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/carsguide.australia Follow our TikTok profile: https://www.tiktok.com/@carsguide.com.au Follow our Instagram profile: https://www.instagram.com/carsguideaus Follow our X profile: https://www.x.com/CarsGuide Follow our Threads profile: https://www.threads.net/@carsguideaus Follow our LinkedIn page: https://www.linkedin.com/company/carsguide-com-au

We've had our LR RWD since end of December and have driven 10,000km. We love it. The screen is not impeded for my driving position, but I totally agree with the AC complaint. The centre screen stops a lot of the air reaching me from the central vent and the steering wheel stops (imo) around 30% of the air for the driver from the RH vent (meaning you have to have the fan on a higher and noisier setting than you'd like). The armrest storages are the sunglass holders and there are 2 excellent drawers under the back seat. It's a brilliant car to drive and incredibly comfortable. We've averaged over 550km equivalent per charge (WLTP for the 94kw usable battery is 619km), and most of our driving is on the freeway and highway (as we live in Mandurah which is at one end of the Kwinana Freeway). When we just drive around town, we get the equivalent of 600-650km. I highly recommend the Zeekr 7X and if you test drive one, we think you'll agree.
Key rings are available for the Zeekr key. I had the same issue with our EX5, got a nice one from evstitan. If the Zeekr voice commands are anywhere near as good as the Geely's you don't need to interact with the screen for controlling vents or anything else while you're driving.
门上的储物槽就是放眼镜的。
👍 video.. a bit short after my expectations. Just change the key batterie and get over it already. 5 possible ways to open the car boot.. with a working key - just saying mate 🍻🎸🇩🇰😎
this car doesn't have a proper inner door handle?
We’ve had our 7X long range for almost 4 months and absolutely adore it. It’s a clear step above the other similarly priced cars, and does most things better than the expensive euros. The only mid size SUVs I’d consider swapping it for would be the new iX3 or the upcoming Volvo EX60. We’ve found the aircon to be great through the Qld summer, just need to play with the settings. Also never use the key fob, just our phones.
Ordered our 7X long range 1 and a half weeks ago. After being told we could expect it in August/September we got a call last week to say our car was on a ship and would be with us on the 29th of May!
You lifted up the sunglasses holder on the driver side door, fits mine perfect😂
if this is the entry level you cant get grey interior on entry level.....??
Great review. Seen plenty of hype and your review was the most balanced

What's the attraction of dull dark cars.On a 40⁰C day dark cars can be 17⁰ hotter. Many reviewer think a ABE (all black everything) car is cool 😎 🌡. Not to mention the invisibility of any dark car to other drivers and pedestrians. It's like people pick up a grey stone from a road surface and ask a dealer to match it on a 48⁰C day in Adelaide. Fashion rules the world and everything I own and do will never go out of fashion because it's never been in fashion . I'll stick to my White performance AWD 7X that we've had for 6 months in Australia for now thanks.
I'm very happy with mine, but I dislike the lack of a proper speed limiter.
People (paricular anti-musk zealots) aren’t going to like this but the Tesla model Y is a much more advanced vehicle from an engineering point of view (and no i don’t own one but an currently looking at EVs with the view to purchase one). Hiw so? the car is waay more efficient, delivers more power, the drive is more sorted, the car electronics and operating system are generations ahead. then you also get preferential access to the supercharger network. just wished they’d give it an exterior redesign.
We have 400kW chargers in Australia
The warranty is the same as tesla.
Had mine since December and love it to bits. The rwd long range is the pick of the range
Nice review.. love this car.. btw the sunglasses storage is that one on the driver arm rest!
The best thing about the Zeekr was that it is just like a car of vintage. That’s also why I didn’t buy it. It’s not remarkable, the interior is good but a bit plain
Thinking we should drop LED lights as some premium feature to mention..
