I'm going to try to beat BG3 as a completely normal, average, not-special and reasonable guy. i really like the ending of this. wyll survived, defended the sword coast as he's always wanted to do, and will make sure his four friends are remembered as the heroes they were. let's just hope mindflayer astarion was able to take cazador out.

I think the ending you chose is exactly what a 'normal' person would do, because that's what I did on my first playthrough. Had to fight Myrkle all over again when I reloaded too lol. I was pissed 😂

Honestly for vanilla I feel a level 1 fighter or rogue and refusing to level up would be the most accurate version of 'normal guy' playthrough.
brownie points for being able to roleplay and stick with outcomes. Game dialogue for me is weird when I play characters be like "I'm suprised you did that or choosing this" Me: Well considering the options this seems the best one :)

I just had to say that I really do enjoy your content and I really hope you keep making videos. You do really great job with your written work and your content making.
This is late, I don't know if you will see it, but your video inspired me and gave me good ideas for replaying bg3. I am wondering if you could either make a video or comment on any advice you'd have for a "regular guy" as in someone playing for fun and not creating a video, for roleplaying. Because I always start off strong but end up falling apart around the end of act 1 or so. 1 good tip I picked up is not doing everything. I am a completionist but I have also finished the game twice and played through act 1/2 like 6 more times. But doing everything does break rp. Why would an evil lolth drow go out of her way to save someone, unless there was no other option. Why would a brand spanking new warrior who got abducted, then had a mindflayer stick a parasite in their eye, go out of there way to do dangerous stuff. So... I really think you could give some really good RP advice to players. I noticed you also seemed to be taking notes, but wasn't sure if that wad for the video or for consistency.
