Wyll does something no one else in the party, including Tav, would do - he spares Karlach with his life on the line. Shadowheart or Astarion in his situation would have killed Karlach before she even had the chance to speak. Karlach's first conversation with you after Mizora shows up is her amazement at how Wyll gave his life for hers, when she is just a stranger to him. He could have been cursed to be a lemure, tortured for eternity, but luckily Mizora still had use for him. Wyll does the right thing no matter what, he's an honorable and good man. Out of all the characters, he and Karlach are true heroes. They remind me of and might even be the next Minsc and Jaheira.

he’s definitely an underwritten character, but still has more to him than people think. thanks for always trying all the options with all the companions and stuff. i always see lines i’ve never seen before! i appreciate the effort.

I know he is not as popular as say Shadowheart or Astarion. I hope is is slowly getting love like everyone respecting Lae'zel as a character. For me he is not my favorite but I respect Wyll. His story may not be as deep though he is a good friend. A friend till the very end.
