A few of my favorite Gale moments that didn’t make it into the video: 1. When you talk to him at the tiefling party and joke about being a nymph in disguise, and he starts babbling about how you clearly aren’t a nymph because nymphs are sticklers for personal hygiene and you obviously haven’t bathed in days, but that he likes your “musk.” 2. When he explains the backstory with Mystra, most of the scene isn’t funny, but when he mentions the death of the previous goddess of magic, he talks about how magic itself was destroyed “for a spell,” which is such a brilliant accidental pun. 3. His banter with the other companions in the early stages of his romance arc. We’ve got Karlach exasperatedly telling him to just talk to the player, Astarion teasing him for pining, Wyll trying desperately to not be having this conversation… 4. If you do the love quiz at the circus with him, and you answer with lemon meringue when the dryad asks what food he’d be, his response is “Do you really think so little of me? At least you didn’t compare me to a spotted dick.” (There is sadly no option to compare him to a spotted dick, which is unfortunate, because it would be hilarious if there was.) 5. If you mouse over his underwear in the inventory screen, their description is: “ Energy crackles around these. Gale wouldn't... surely he didn't enchant his...” Sadly, one never gets to find out what Gale enchanted his underwear to do, even if one is sleeping with him. 6. “That’s not a Gale-sized hole.” Honestly, I could go on forever. I absolutely adore this wizard.
