Backstabs in Elden Ring are INSANE

I’m using that weapon on my magic build right now, and it’s perfect for whenever I have an opportunity to crit. Works wonderfully with magic.

Im curious how the Heavy executioner Great Axe would conpare to this

The executuners great axe can have a higher crit damage due to its higher base damage

I wnat yo to try this with a different weapons since while it is true that the 140 modifier is the highest in the game, the base damage of the misericorde is not that great so I wonder if it would be possible to do more damage with a weapon that had way more base damage despite a lower crit modifier.

I'd love to see what this goes to on the flaming heads. They have a huge multiplier for their backstab

Executioner great axe may be a bit more cause it has a bit less crit boost but has so much more damage

You could probably get even more damage with a flame infused Executioners Greataxe (high ar and 130 crit multiplier). Also allows the use of oil pots, flame tear and to make backstab an enemy weak to fire like the guardians (the guys with the flower armor)
