The main questline of Skyrim wasn’t exactly peak cinema either, it was a world to get lost in and that’s what made the game for me. I’m looking forward to getting lost in crimson desert tomorrow. The exploration was always the main draw for me with CD and it’s looking like they delivered
“Boss fights significantly over tuned” sounds like music to a souls player.
I played skyrim for a year straight and I never bothered about the "main" story. It was about exploring and doing quests for people and factions that was engaging for me.
"Boss fights are over tuned in terms of difficulty" I'm sold. Take my money.
Ok so it’s Dragons Dogma 2 turnt up. Bet that! 43rd bday present 🎁
I love hard boss fights. I hope they keep it that way

Only 10hrs and 24 minutes before the release fellas
60 hours.. so you completed the Tutorials
My favorite thing in games is meaningful exploration. That’s why i like the 2002-2011 bethesda games, the switch zelda games, elden ring, dragons dogma 1&2, etc. I love a good narrative/cinematic game, but i like the feeling of rewarding exploration a lot more. And i was never expecting CD to be a strong story driven game like CDPR or R* games
I like the term "flawed masterpiece"
Can we remove the shield visibility from kliff back?
Dang it sounds alright but he dint make it seem like it’s going to be a goty contender. I’m still looking forward to playing it though! Thanks for your honest review and not pulling any punches my dude!
It’s a great game y’all. There’s plenty to do. You’ll spend hours doing random activities before you even consider doing the main quest. The world is massive and filled with intricate detail to enjoy just like RDR2. It even has an interact with NPCs dialogue just like in RDR2 (greet, antagonize).
Bosses are just ridiculous and I’m an elden ring and Sekiro veteran. Don’t know what they were thinking.
Are there any sheaths for swords or other weapons?
One thing I can say is the outfits are pretty unique and the devs really took they time with it
Did you try and kinda rush the story at all or spent most time exploring then did story after getting stronger? I’m wondering if I can get around the “overturned” bosses by focusing exploration and getting stronger vs playing the story first.
A mature Zelda with 3 starting characters. I'm all for it! Waiting for it's release in a few hours from now.
And I'm already stuck at the beginning lol in the castle to use the key but I can't get past that door
