The most infuriating part with this mod is that you can actually catch glimpses of a really good yet really hard design under all the bullshit. Item placement is carefully curated to ensure control on how much stats / healing / weapon damage you'll have at any point in the game, and the beginning of Limgrave has some very thoughtful enemy placement to force you to engage with difficult enemies, instead of just running through. And then for some reason the devs remembered you can just spam the same enemy 50 times in a row across the map like it's Lost Izalith and call it a day. Or spam / strengthen enemies that are broken (Gaius, PCR, Leonine Misbegotten) instead of improving them. The beginning of the mod feels like it wants to be an excruciatingly hard yet still a bit fair, everything else feels more troll than anything, as if both parts were created by two people with different visions, who never spoke to each other, except to agree on the fact that they disagreed on what the mod should be. Anyways, congrats Aggy on beating this nightmare

I get this is a hardcore challenge mod but i hate everything about how it's executed. It's very snarky in how it views healing, range, magic, and usable items; like you're going to break The Vision with a single throwing knife when clearly you need to be killing a group of revenants like a true melee master instead of range pulling them, and the naming convention of places reminded me of early rofl-copter internet humor. That's a me problem though, and i do enjoy watching Aggy suffer so i am very grateful regardless

genuinely in awe at how they made a fight as creative and challenging as the magma wyrm + snails fight and then every other fight afterwards is just spamming powerful enemies with either beefed up stats, status effects out the ass, or both, and then they start throwing fucking garden of eyes bosses out at you. it genuinely feels like the good parts of this mod were made on accident.

This just feels like PCR, Aging Untouchable, and 50+ mobs in one room spam: the mod lmao
