Teams that have the talent don't want to give up on some of those young players . I saw someone say Duren , Thompson , Lanier , and draft picks . That's insane . Give up on Duren , Thompson , add Lanier who many feel has the ability to be a superstar if he gets play time . Then Draft Picks . I'd love Giannis on Detroit but that's too much to give up . I saw the same type of Trade for the Knicks . You can't expect a team to give up these young players for a guy who is great but has had injuries .

Portland has several Bucks picks they got in Dame trade 1.0 so expect the Blazers to be in the mix to be involved in any Giannis trade if it happens. Milwaukie will want those picks back.

The fact is Giannis is a star who’s entire skill set is physicality and athleticism, and he’s be 32 in december. You could get yourself a KG to the Celtics situation, or consider his injury history as of late, you could get a KG to the Nets situation and there’s really no way of knowing. A young, rebuilding team with top picks like Wizards, Jazz, Bulls, Grizz, and clips, wouldn’t gain anything by adding an expensive superstar with a generous 3 year window of being great left. It only makes sense for him to go to a contender, someone like the Celtics or Wolves who could use that push over the edge, but those teams either have nothing to give to Milwaukee without gutting their teams or don’t have enough value.
