Contracts denying legal action are non binding. Sue them anyway
If buying isn't owning, then piracy isn't stealing Buying a game should not just be renting it until the publisher decides that you're not allowed to access it anymore
Krafton craft your own grave please
Pretty sure the "if you buy from us you can't sue us no matter what" bit alone is already illegal in many countries
It's kind of ironic that this happens to a game about escaping debt slavery to an intergalactic corporation that claims ownership over any and everything you craft to survive in an emergency situation that happened due to their negligence in putting you and a hundred others in danger.
Stop killing games should win
an EULA is not legally binding, and will never hold up in court.
Krafton is trying to kill the game's sales via any means they can so they dont have to pay a 200m bonus they cant afford. The courts arent stupid and this will be brought up to an already pissed off judge
So the company that tried to screw over the original devs is trying to screw consumers. what a shocker
Their EULA is a problem. But I'm willing to bet the EULA of nearly all big AAA games we play are basically the same, which makes this a bigger issue.
So what Krafton is saying. 'Please pirate our game'.
Valve above please save us 🙏
_When gaming becomes outlawed, only outlaws will have games._
The tree of liberty is thirsty..
I am from Austria - EU and we have one of the best consumer friendly laws .... this EULA means nothing here and in 75% of the rest of the the EU
Reminder that eulas can't be enforced by law...
I'll just buy a physical pirate version
Wonder if the CEO got these ideas from chat GPT too?! 🤔😂
What if krafton purposely put in a very aggressive and terrifying EULA so that they would sell less copies, and thus, not have to pay out the 250 mill. Its not out of the realm of possibility, they literally turned to ai for ideas after all.
Are these AAA game companies trying to become Big Brother in the industry?
