Nice video Emma.as you are leaving, maybe transplant the pot flowers into that bare bed. Saves pennies and you can pack up your pots. Less pots around will look better for those buyers who don't want work, and your pots will be easier to transport. ❤
Im so glad that you have decided to sell. Doing the extention would of made you happy for a bit, but in your heart you wanted a new home. Now you can buy a beautiful home with a bigger garden.
Sharpen your grass edge it makes a big difference
Get yourself a little box of meadow flowers and sprinkle them on and water well. Aww don’t use weed killer. The plants are in flower the bees will get killed.
I'd put down woodchip in the bare areas to make it look more finished.
Put a blue Plaque on the house. Celebrity residence.
Please make sure you video the shed clearout, you're going to be hilarious 😂 Nice Sunday video Emma, good job done 👏
Nothing wrong with voice over. I just love spending time with you
fairly sure the plant with the blue flowers is Green Alkanet. It's beautiful and popular with bees etc but very invasive and a nightmare to get rid of. I'm lucky to have a very long garden (when we bought it the estate agent apologised for the size and said a lot of people had been put off by it!) so I have areas where I can leave it alone but I pull it up in my veg garden and patio.
The voiceover is fine Emma, often a voice over is better as it hides all the background noise like trains or sirens
Hi Emma! I have some neighbors too... 😢 So happy to hear you're moving. Hopefully you'll find your dream house with a dream garden. ❤ The voice over is fine! 👌🏼 Lots of love from the Netherlands, Janie
Emma take your pots with you as there expensive now days and also take any plants you want with you, just remember the next new owner could dig up the whole lot,so take what you love with you❤❤
You could move some of your pots onto the bare bit at the front, it would make the back look more spacious and add instant colour to the front, it would look intentional as if you are moving it isn't uncommon to plant up pots with things you are taking to your new garden.
Just buy grass seed or wildflower seed for the ground patches. Also just buy allot of lavender plants and fill the beds with it! It looks tiedy and beautifull! And easy to maintain Very exited for the news! I hope everything goes well and u find a very nice house with a big garden!! Cant w8 to follow the process! If u like to share the process of moving and renovating ❤
If have bare patches of earth sometime I put a pot with something on the bare patch. Saves buying too much and stops weeds from regrowing.
16:41 there’s a solution to the bare areas from the clearing. I had to stage a severely neglected garden and no budget… Use what you have. The multilevel leaning plant stand (currently in the lower level), move to the bare area on the right along the fence as you go up the step to the garden. In that bare area near the step/lower level, use several same colored pots (all blue ones or all terracotta so you have several sizes). Use at least one inverted to stack another on top to add height. Annuals and herbs are your friends when staging the garden. Mulch makes a world of difference in staging too. Just remember: when you move you’ll take your plants with you. Good and well intended. Transporting so as not to crush the plants you love and transporting heavy dirt filled pots… not too fun… just something to keep in mind.
When I put my home on the market. I decluttered my home and put it into storage. That way my house looked cleaner and the rooms looked bigger. When I went house hunting, I hated walking into a house that was full of furniture and nik naks. It made the rooms looked tiny.
Hi Emma, Your videos are so calming❤
Lovely ,so nice to see you on the up 😊
Hope your house sale goes well. Are you hoping to move out of London?
