Call of Juarez Gunslinger comes to mind as a nice 7/10 game
Mad Max was awesome and probably a 7/10 but fun as hell
Hey Batman Arkham Origins is a total blast. Amazing boss fights, a really great story, and all the great gameplay from Arkham City.
The thing that makes Robocop so great to me is they devs understood the source material. The world feels right. Robocop feels right. The action is just right.
The Saboteur is actually is a game that I wish for the remake
I mean, playing a game for 10 seconds isn't really that much, but I trust Gameranx.
The original Dead Island is still my favorite. I absolutely loved that game.
Darksiders 2 is such a Gem. Incredible Game.

RYSE Son Of Rome was an Instant that came to mind so fun both the story and multi-player yet so slept on
Evil West, Darkwatch, Prince of Persia 2008, Mortal Kombat Shaolin Monks, Mad Max. So many 7s i keep going back to.

You're 100% right about Dead Island 2. Short, sweet, focused, limited scope, condensed goodness. Doesn't overstay it's welcome. I played it at PAX East before it launched and knew it was gonna be a gem.

Robocop: Rogue City, especially the streets of Old Detroit, is visually stunning. The neon, the reflections, the gore, and also the sound design is top-tier.
I played Dead Island the last several weekends with friends for the first time. We had much fun.
Outward is a very 7/10 game that I play couch co-op. We always come back to this for some reason
