No one wants to see a closing stretch of holes where birdies are an anomaly. Props to Aaron Rai, that putt was insane, but keep the single-digit four-day scores for the US Open and give us a chance to watch someone have a shot at a comeback toward the end.

It drove me nuts seeing all the criticism for Rahm And JT, yet nothing was made of Rory. Rory criticized the course all week, he said shit in a press conference. He had a fan booted in the final round after chunking that pitch. Those other guys had people calling for their damn tour card. It's so hypocritical. I wished Rahm had won to shut everyone up.
Aaron took this one with class and consistency, while the top players (namely Rory, Scottie) venting the entire time how hard the course was playing… damn straight it played hard, that’s the friggin point! Glad Aaron got his due. Major winner Aaron Rai!

Anyone else notice a Yank in the crowd yelling 'get in the water' as Rai played his approach to 17? I bet him holing that 70 footer would have shut his yap for him. After the last Ryder Cup, I guess I shouldn't really be surprised; not to mention that idiot who heckled McIlroy.
