This is easily the best footy duo going around. And i like alot of others too
Kingy: “I don’t want to be too critical” mate you’re more than happy to LAY into every other struggling team.
Lets be honest, Essendon could draft the most outstanding group of kids imaginable, but if they are led and guided by senior players like McGrath, Redman and Parish, they will never ever learn anything........imagine following McGrath into war, oh my god.......
as a WCE supporter, I am getting into a Flagmantle frame of mind.
I still think it's a little early to make the call on King and Melbourne. We've seen the new coach bump every year at a couple teams. Year 1 is usually free flowing and fun footy and the opposition hasn't had a full preseason to study all your tactics and game style.
Brad Scott: ‘Blind Freddy can see what we’re trying to do.’ I saw a team that was trying not to lose by too much and too afraid to try to play positively.
Blues fan here 👋 Where has “it” been? Playing for a bloke in Voss who admitted he had no plan B in his career cut interview, might have something to do with it…
Hawks are not same team without chol. When will chol get his respect. 8 Been obvious his absence
We’re re-assessing the hawks after declaring them flag favourites only a few weeks ago?? They’ll be fine…
4:50 Round17 Haw v Melb game is in Launceston too, needs to be moved MCG. Will get 60-70k.
Around the same time last year, Collingwood beat Hawthorn by 54 points. They regrouped after the bye. No panic. Hawks looked tired...possibly a tough draw to date.
Kane giving excuses for the hawks.
Hard to not sound like this is sour grapes because Melbourne deserved their win. BUT we just didnt look interested though.Hard to also get a real assessment of them given how lazy we were in the 2nd half especially. While the Dees had players missing, they wernt the calibre of those the Hawks had missing at thats hard to cover also. Barrass, Gunston, Chol, Scrimshaw, Nash and the soon to be returning Will Day are all vital cogs in our chances of winning a flag.. We all know the Hawks midfield is its weakness and while a couple of the new kids look really impressive, they arent ready yet. So we cant afford to have players of that high level missing and still expect to win every week. As for the Dees imm sure they are good enough to make finals. They atrent a premiership threat in my opinion but could win a final and that would be huge for them given where they are starting from
Games played ..... it's a disgrace that Craig Bradley isn't included in the 'special' 400 club .....
Outside of not marking up their players well, one of the main reasons Hawks lost was because of how poor most of our forward line was. Aside from Lewis early on, our forward line rarely moved into open positions and we didn't present any form of aerial challenge to the Dees defenders.
I think the genius of Kingy is giving good players the opportunity to be good players. Goodwin didn’t give Sparrow , Kozzie , Sharp and more a chance to step up .
King needs to get a bigger hat
Will be different again next week. Say Geelong lose and Adelaide they will write them off. Hawks been written off already. Teams go through periods. Lions this stage last year were struggling as were Hawthorn. Lions we know what happened and Haw won two finals on the road
Kane Cornflakes wouldn't know shit from shoe polish 😘
Wry grin from Kane with Kingy's flat kicking reference.
