Look, people always try to say Shaquille O'Neal ainโt work hard, but thatโs lowkey crazy because you donโt become a 4-time champion, MVP, Finals MVP, Hall of Famer, and the most physically unstoppable force the league ever seen by just chilling on the couch eating burgers all day, like yeah Shaq himself admitted he wasnโt obsessed with basketball 24/7 like Kobe Bryant and didnโt wanna kill his body in practice after already getting hacked, shoved, elbowed, and jumped by 7-footers every night, but people forget this man still played through pain, carried entire teams, dominated double and triple teams, averaged monster numbers for years, stayed powerful enough to bully grown men off the court, adjusted his game as he got older, put fear into defenses the second he stepped in the paint, showed up huge in the Finals, made teammates better just off attention alone, and had defenders looking like little kids trying to stop a freight train with a backpack on, so when Shaq says โwhy work harder when nobody can stop me anyway,โ it sounds funny but lowkey makes sense because even without the psycho Kobe mentality he still became one of the greatest and most dominant athletes ever, which honestly is what makes prime Shaq so terrifying because the dude was basically playing basketball like a final boss on casual mode and still breaking the game. ๐ฏ๐ฅ
