Bigger brakes dont give you extra stopping power compared to a standard size they handle the heat better in repeated applications.

My 20yr old diesel estate has 350's up front. Disc size tends to be relative to weight not performance, as the larger disc doesn't create more stopping power, they just act as a heatsink.

Biggers brakes dont stop quicker, the just cool down better and dont overheat thats it. Better brake pads are the only component making more stopping power. Everything else is for heat dissipation and consistency.

My 2006 Jaguar s-type front rears are 326mm and have pretty good brake performence
Well larger discs dont exactly mean more stopping power, its mostly for more thermal surface area so heat spreads out and doesn't put all the work on a small disc, sure theres more surface area on the disc but the pressure just spreads across that surface area bc physics is physics. Wider tires would slow you down faster tho.
