Monaghan A75CY82 Ok, welcome back everyone ❤️ Big day of progress with Bertie and the truck 👀 Peter from Flowtech drove all the way up from Cork to sort me out with a winch for loading and unloading Bertie safely, something a lot of you suggested, and you were dead right. Safety first, especially when it comes to the general public and me on a tractor 😂😂😅 We check back in with Eoin for a quick update on the truck, then it’s down to Tombo where we get stuck into the lift arms… and try to free them up, and my god Tombo just loves that hammer 🙈 It’s all coming together bit by bit , but not without plenty of messing and craic along the way. Still on the lookout for my toaster and kettle by the way, if anyone knows where they’ve gone, let me know in the comments 😁🩷

You may be talking about me there when I gave the explanation about how springs work and the action of the dampers. By the way I am not English, but born in Cork, Ireland but have lived and worked abroad. As for the anti-roll bar -- it is fixed to the structure of the car or truck in two places, and the two ends of the roll-bar are fitted to the suspension. As the wheel goes up the spring absorbs the shock but on cornering the body tries to go down on one side with the weight of the truck. The anti-roll bar helps to stop this roll of the body and thus keep stability. Hope this makes sense.
