The national average pay for a CNA is $18/hr; that means she is working fewer than 5 hours a week. Making 800 is ridiculous; if you take the national minimum wage of $7.25, he's doing 20 hours a week at two jobs. They are in no way doing that. If you work at McDonald's, you get paid more. They are choosing this and not putting full effort into actually trying to be above the poverty line.

These people don’t understand that the job market has no jobs what so ever. Telling him to go get a job at a supermarket when they only hire teenagers or old people. I was a farmer for 3 years and got let go because of health complications and have been putting in job applications since December of last year and still nothing. I have gone into over 40 different businesses and put in little over 300 applications across all fields. Nothing. Not sure what the working class is supposed to do when there’s none to give out or it just might be my state I don’t know.

They really are me and my wife work like hell and barely bring 800 a month no one wants to pay at all all of which pay us 12 dollars and hour snd we've heard it all before you can get a different job snd your totally right so we did and they pay the same so we looked some more and they also paid the same we stay in a motel room and do nothing lol walking outside almost cost to much to do and we have to do without alot bc we have children most people are out of touch with this reality snd the only people that actually get helped most of the time are those whom already have money we want to leave but it cost to much and we have to live in between so how would such things be possible

I have never seen a restaurant that gives that few of hours unless youre regularly no-showing or giving them crazy limited availability. Theyre usually callin 3x every time you have a day off begging you to come help

Thats crazy. My 15 year old neice brings home 1000 a month working weekends as a dishwasher as a restaurant. Also, my older sister is my in home care giver/helper. ( no cna certificate) she makes 2000 a month helping me a few hours a day.
