I had parking enforcement. Put one of these on my car while it's asleep in it.. I told them that they didn't take it back off. Immediately, they would find all of their lug nuts missing at various intervals in time

A guy I used to know got a clamp on his work van for overstaying on a parking meter. He opened the van, took out his oxy-acetylene torch, cut off the clamp, welded it to the meter, and drove off. I'm pretty sure the van was on dodgy number plates.
