Man when i saw the Darth Maul duel in theaters, it was goosebumps from the very first note

the choir is london voices and john williams brought them in to record the opening of duel of the fates for phantom menace. they had no real way to know what it would turn into, they were just running through sheet music in a studio. now its one of the most recognized cues in film score history and a huge chunk of the prequel identity is built on those opening voices 🎼 had y'all ever heard the full studio recording of duel of the fates before this clip?

Still the greatest entrance music to any villain in movie history. Everybody having the slightest amount of clue of the Star Wars universe to this time flipped hearing this in combination with the double lightsaber.

Can you image being able to honestly say you were a part of creating this timeless classic.

So i wasn't a big fan of the prequels, but this music (and its accompanying scene) still gives me chills.

The star wars scores and john williams music is by far and away some of the best music ever created
