Rc cars are awesome whole bother hobby im into the rc crawlers now but the drift cars are where it’s at too. I plan on getting one I can get a tailor for my truck and tow it around lol
I used to toy around a lot with RC-cars like that growing up. To the point where I started doing national championships; which is where it gets plenty fast and plenty expensive. A competition chassis with Carbon upper and lower chassis, all the alu competition suspension components would easily be upwards of a grand. And that's just the chassis, no engine, control units, body or tires etc. Well worth it though, I learned a lot about suspension geometry racing them and or combining that with Grand Turismo to try different setups. Tamiya still makes the best looking out of the box JDM body's, I could dream that catalog. Painted inside out and surprisingly durable, they suffer a lot in competition. That turbo is used by several brands as their OEM turbo; Mitsubishi not surprisingly and Volvo for example. A slightly smaller one for the low pressure turbo models(quick to spool) and this one or a slightly larger one for the faster T5 cilinder ones.
James's only car with black wheels automatically makes it my favorite.

That visit to addiction was fuckin sick. I have a Reve D RDX with a MC3 conversion, and fully hopped up, and it's currently got a addiction/rêve D WEINS Kanagawa x OreDa body. Also got a Yokomo RD2.0 (carbon and aluminium everything as well) with a sileighty body, and finally got my SD3.0 Limited Edition Bronze chassis last week, that's running a mark II body atm. Jimmy - RC drifting is sick af, but it ain't cheap 😂. Could probably nab a good deal on fb market place though, and run them on ya shop floor for shits and gigs with the boys 👌
