It's amazing that a family sedan with a solid rear axle and a pushrod engine was able to come even remotely close to the technological wonders it was competing against at the time, it was the engineering briliance of people like Larry Perkins that made it possible.

Awesome work GRM and Jack. Quoting Mike Raymond at the Lakeside round of the 1991 ATCC. When they crossed to Peter's Racecam footage on the front straight. Brock was behind John Bowe in the Shell sierra. He said " Sounds like a real race car" and Neil Crompton replied It is. During the footage Brock said at the end of the straight he hit 7600RPM in top. He was pretty happy. RIP Mike Raymond and Garry Rogers. Jack could you explain to us fans what was the difference between the 1991 Iron Lion Holden V8 and the 1993 Bathurst Winning Iron Lion Holden V8 that yr dad drove to that fabulous win. Great Memories. One of the best Bathursts to watch. Can't wait to see the engine in the car. Keep up the great work Jack. Ill be watchn. RIP Greg Hansford.
