As someone who is a couple weeks from being down gr 9 my advice is LISTEN IN CLASS and try your best to go to every class every day i found this out the hard way now im failing a few classes

I’m just finishing 9th atm. Paying attention is very crucial to pass your classes! Trust me, high school courses are far different than middle school, unless you took Honors in middle school.

Keep trying buddy never give up that's all that matters even on the day's when u don't feel like.

Hey man I just finished my first year of high school, after being homeschooled my whole life so first school EVER I was super nervous but the year went great just don’t worry about what others think about you and chase what makes you happy. Also many kids aren’t social I noticed especially with the phones nowadays so a lot of people just keep to themselves, kinda sad :/ have fun!

Don’t fall behind in classes just listen so u understand and go on about your day, and also try to make friends, maybe you walk by at least 2-5 people who can be lifelong friends but you never become their friend. Usually people get one or two of those people sometimes 0. But having good relationships with people is always helpful.
