"Thats the royal palace (points at the parlament) and that is the armory (points at the royal palace)"
This is the kind of solo travel vlog that feels like a warm hug. Stockholm looks dreamy in the summer.
that lady that met you on the airport, thats who i wanna be. she looks so cool even at 59.
Drottninggatan and Old Town is pretty much the tourist trap area, so I'm glad to see you managed to venture a bit outside of that and glad that you enjoyed your stay. I hope you visit the city again sometime in the future.
Thank you for sharing your time spent in Sweden. Stockholm looks like a safe, clean chaotic free city worth visiting.
I love that you’re wearing your dad’s coat.🧥 He’s always hugging you. ❤ I miss my dad. You are sunshine ☀️
I found your YouTube channel a couple of months ago and really found it interesting! When you suddenly uploaded a video from my hometown Stockholm, and really managed to show the best sides of it, I couldn’t be happier❤️ thank you Taylor, keep doing what you’re doing
As a Swede, I smiled at "I'm going to avoid the touristy stuff" while walking into Old Town, the Ground zero of tourist trapping in Stockholm. Also, it's so nice to see someone exploring my hometown. It is really nice in the summer...kind of has to be to make us survive the 7-8 months of wet, freezing and dark hellscape that is Sweden in the autumn and winter until we can thaw again when light returns in spring.
The "royal palace" is actually the government building and the "armory" is the royal palace. I am happy you found Mariatorget, one of my favourite spots. 👍🙂
Just the video to watch for my Friday evening
Loved your comment about walking pace. As someone living my whole life in Stockholm I was surprised when visiting New York City that my natural walking pace as a commuter in Stockholm was a perfect match with New York commuters walking pace. I had heard my whole life that the walking pace in NYC is outrageously fast. But then I remember that people not from Stockholm always complain about the same thing when moving to Stockholm.
Architecture is great! I'm 77 and enjoy your vlogs!
WOW! That is one beautiful vacation in Stockholm, Sweden. One day, I would love to travel there! Thank you for sharing your travel tips!
I loved this wonderful country. I have unforgettable memories.
Hope you liked my home town 😊 honestly i understand why people dont want to be here during winter time, but it is extremly magical and beautiful during winter, if you have the time one day you should really come during winter, just get dressed for the weather. And yea gamla stan is probably the best place to be during a vacation. It is close to everything and it is of course the oldest part of stockholm. Hope to see you back 😊, fyi new follower because of exactly this video 😝😁 tack för besöket =(thanks for the visit)
Love your travel vlogs, and it's a great time to do some traveling as an American. Stockholm is a great chill, cozy European city. Planning on going there next month and moving to Europe next year.
Välkommen till Sverige! :)
Thank you for visiting us! You are so cool and cute, come back soon and stay longer. 🤩 Oh wow, you got into Lilla Ego. That's an achievement!
Welcome! 🇸🇪
Our pretty capitol city!
