Just booked my first solo trip to New York next Friday! I’m nervous and excited at the same time, I have a whole itinerary ready but to ask for strangers for pictures is what kills me🥲 this vlog made me see it differently to come out my comfort zone
Traveling doesn't make your problems go away but it does provide a new perspective on life, the world and everything in it, to help you handle and hopefully solve your problems. Great vid
i’m planning a last minute solo trip to nyc in november and i’m terrified but also feel like a part of my soul exists there hahaha. i just have to see it and experience it. thanks for this video!! lessened the nerves
Heading to NYC tomorrow by myself for my birthday. I love solo traveling. I like to be on my agenda.
Went to NYC for a week and it completely changed my view of how to live life; give it, it was after Covid time
Watching this felt like hearing my own inner monologue — the nervous excitement, the awkwardly asking strangers for pics, and that weird 24-year-old pressure to “have it all figured out.” Loved how you turned discomfort into curiosity. Tip for future solo travelers: carry a small Polaroid or a funny sticker to break the ice when asking for photos — people warm up way faster if you make them smile. NYC truly is the best city to get lost and find yourself a little. Can’t wait for part 2 — more subway stories please!
Thx for taking me along. Still looks the same from when I was last there in summer of 2019. One of my friend’s gf lived out there for two years for school. She attended NYU and majored in nursing and got invited along to check out the Big Apple. Hard to believe it’s been a little over 6 years since I was last there and I hope to go back to NYC very soon.
I was in NYC last year for 2 weeks probably one of the best 2 weeks in my life so far.
I always solo travel to NY, NJ & other states for concerts & festivals & I don’t regret it. Made a lotta new friends & memories that will stick it me forever
Thank you for this! I’m going to NYC in two weeks and can’t wait to see my first Broadway show! You make this experience soo reassuring for me. Cheers🎉
This vlog is so beautiful. Thank you for being so honest and pure with your thoughts and heart, and gushing over the city. I just marked 10 years since I moved here, and this video gave me a renewed sense of love for everything in my life. I may not be exactly where I want to be, but I know the places in this vlog very well. And that in itself is monumental <3 the fact you took this trip is monumental! And I loved how you said it feels like you're not alone because you have us. You're so right. So many people energetically with you
Man, I’ve been working for about four years now, and I feel the exact same way. I knew what I was signing up for, but somehow, it’s still not what I expected. Spending your life in an office just to build someone else’s company? Honestly, it’s depressing.
I’m 27 and just booked my first solo trip to nyc. I’ll be there November 1st😌 this video helped out a lot
NYC was my first solo trip back in May 2022. I was there for one week and I absolutely loved it!
I’ve been binging travel videos planning to solo traveling after graduating high school in 2026. My first trip would be to NYC on the way to Canada, and seeing others around my age living out my dreams makes them feel achievable. Thank you for sharing your journey!
I flew all the way from Sweden 🇸🇪 to New York last year for my dream solo trip, a trip a dreamt of since I was 10 years old (19 years ago). It was amazing and also a great city to go solo in! I met a lot of people and I also got invited to New Jersey and it was such an awesome experience! Best trip I’ve ever had and I’m planning on going back there next year 😍🙏 Liked your video, fun to watch! Take care! 😁
