After 60 days alone in Europe I still have trouble wrapping my head around it all. I got to go see some of the most beautiful landscapes I’ve always dreamt of seeing, I got to meet some of the coolest people I’ve ever met, and now I get to say that I’ve done it. All because I took the first terrifying step of booking the flight. I never thought I couldn’t do it, but it’s crazy to say that I did. And now I have these memories and experiences that I’ll bring along with me for the rest of my life. All because I decided to just take the first step. Some days sucked and I knew that would be the case, but some days I forgot I was even alone. After 60 days alone on a different continent I now understand the difference between loneliness and solitude, I now know that I’m capable of improvising in any given situation, and I finally now know how to take the bus. And in the end I think I did figure out a little more about myself. If you want to see the world, travel. If you want to figure yourself out a bit, travel, if you want to build confidence, travel. If you want to meet all types of new people, travel. Never ever ever underestimate your ability to just figure shit out. Started watching this on my phone for about 4 mins... quicly realized that I needed the full experience, turned on the computer with proper speakers and visuals . ended the video right. Charlie I hope you are alright man, chin up my dude, your life is just beginning ⛰ you will do great things.
minecraft music, video was pure cinema. love you bro
the way you film, colour grade and tell stories is so beautiful man
Traveling alone with no plan taught me a lot, but only after I stopped confusing freedom with avoidance. Movement doesn’t fix what structure is missing. They Taught You to Be Nice, Not STRONG by Orrin Conway helped me see how discipline gives direction to solitude. Once I had standards, even unplanned days started to compound.
this guy doesn't miss
A 27 minute Charlie video is what I neeeeed!
i never comment on videos, never. but i am going through a tough part of my life. and this is genuinely the best yt video i have ever watched, because it has shown me that what i need to do is to focus on myself and heal, and would that be traveling the beautiful earth like you have? maybe.. very possibly. even just by watching this it seems to me that nature, the parts of the earth you only see on videos can deeply heal you. those mountains in the alps are something of a beautiful dream. and this is the video that has made me to decide to think about going travelling and embracing solitude. thank you for putting this on the internet for myself and others going through a rough patch to watch and take in. you are a legend, people may not see what it is that they need to do and i hope they can find it in this video like i have myself. i dont believe in god... however, god bless your soul.

You have to be one of the most underrated YouTubers on the planet. These videos are so incredible and have been such an inspiration for my life
I love the fact that you showed us even the bad days and bad times, no trips are all rainbows and glitters and a lot of people seem to be hiding it on social media. Thank you this was amazing. I love the colour grading by the way.
I am almost 50 and I took my first solo trip and my first trip to Europe last summer and it changed my life. My retirement plan (if I can ever retire) has completely changed and I am so excited. It is just beyond beautiful there and I just crave more.
this video sounded at the same level it looked. it was like watching and listening to charlie's trip as a book. this resonated with me deeply man. love ur works, cheers!
