I’m also in my solo travel era. I’m 25 y/o and I’ve been living alone for 2 years. I’ve went out to dinner, to museums, parks, shops,fairs, etc by myself, but I haven’t traveled internationally yet alone. That’s something that I’d love to do! I made a goal to travel to all 50 states and so it’s been fun planning out my trips! I also co-sign the headphone hack when you’re alone. I have openshokz so I wear those when I’m out alone. This vid was so encouraging and makes me so excited to take my first solo international trip!

It's such a crazy thing that the idea of sitting in a restaurant alone is so intimidating. I definitely would've been channeling Carrie Bradshaw to do that.
Honestly surprised to see so many people online who don't do or are afraid to do anything solo. For me it's normal, I've been living on my own since I was 18 years old, lived in five different states, lived in Europe for 3 years, traveled to 30 countries and countless amounts of cities worldwide only 2 of those were with someone. Continue to enjoy being with yourself, having a community is important but we can enjoy being alone as well and it shouldn't be viewed as weird or something that shouldn't be done.
My daughter, same age and from St Pete, is in Florence currently doing a whole Italy trip solo! She's been there almost a month already! She just arrived in Florence yesterday. She has done some AirBnbs, but loving staying in hostels more cuz she's meeting so many people that way. She even met a guy from St Pete while in Tropea. ❤
