You've reached the end
telling yourself βdonβt stress you canβt control itβ and then proceeding to stress tf out anywayβ¦ real lol
Itβs one thing to attempt this travel day, itβs another to record the whole thing. Your commitment to your content is mad respectable. Thatβs wassup
Iβm glad you made it but a one hour layover in London between terminals is mental and Iβd still highly recommend against doing that
Smart for solo female travelers to tell men who ask too personal questions that they are married or even traveling with someone who you will meet later. Safety is always top priority.
Even in the most stressful moments, you still have the energy to send positive vibes and share kindness with complete strangers. You are a CLASS ACT.
I just heard today that "worrying about things you cannot control is the root of all suffering"; which lowkey, once you accept you have no control is usually when things work out. "A watched pot never boils" or whatever
Wowww, good on you for remaining so patient and kind to everybody you interacted with even though you were super stressed!! That's geniunely impressive and I bet the airport staff appreciated it π«Ά
It seems silly but as a solo female traveler, my recommendation is to buy a cheap wedding engagement, ring set. Like make sure it's cheap so that you're not getting robbed but have that on because it is a universal sign that that someone is waiting for you and obviously they're going to think a man and it's sad to say but in their heads they respect the man and the fact that you made a commitment to the man versus you having any autonomy of yourself. Again, please remember to get something cheap because they also see it as you being an easy mark if it's fancy.
NOT THE βMASSAGERβ RIGHT NEXT TO THE BED
Those tight transfer times are the worst. I once had an hour in Oslo and my first plane was delayed. I had five minutes when I landed to sprint across the airport to get my second flight. I was fortunate that I had the same airline for both so didnβt have the anxiety of waiting for that baggage belt to start moving! π
Like the saying goes.. the days are long but the years are short.
I just did a flight from Thailand to Seoul to NY with an hour layover. The ticket person was like yaa you won't make that flight from the seat you are in and switched me to a closer spot for free PEOPLE ARE THE BEST SOMETIMES
Some random man talks to me out of the blue while traveling? Yeah I have a boyfriend, weβve been together for 2 years heβs the sweetest
I like how you treat strangers and airport staff, etc. Subscribed βΊοΈ
I have an airtag in my suitcase for easing the stress over these type of uncomfortable situations + it also shows if your luggage even made with you to the plane and to your destinationπ so yeah, highly recommend that! Glad that you made it back safeπ€©
You made it! As you get older, youβll learn that it is ok to pay more for less stress. Thank you for sharing and for being so positive π
I canβt believe how kind and lovely you were to other people even when you were stressing. Thanks for reminding me to be a better person today. β€
I did this my first time ever traveling internationally but I only had thirty minutes. It was also my first time travelling alone. I was also sixteen. I also had a ridiculously heavy bag with no wheels because my elder sister (who I was visiting) forced me to bring a bunch of (cheaper) skincare overseas with me for her. It was a character building moment for sureπππ
I like that she thanks staff and drivers with a pleasant attitude.
I feel so exposed rn π been talking about taking a trip to america again and the last one was beyond stressful... but if you can do all THIS, I can too πβ¨
