I saw 'Maria' and it left me speechless, she was oustanding and it made me want to know more about the world of opera. She deserves all the awards nominations and I hope she takes home some of these awards, She is a true role model

I’m a conservatory-trained opera singer and teacher with 45 years of singing behind me, and I eagerly anticipated seeing her in “Maria”, which I did in NYC last week. We in opera/concert singing spend years on technique, sight-reading, music theory, language and diction, conducting and so much more, and what Angelina was able to achieve in this film in the short 7 months she had to learn a bit about singing is astonishing. Not only is there a real voice in there, but Angelina also learned the actual music!! Opera is very, very complex musically, and for a non-musician to be proficient with it is absolutely amazing. I would love to see her continue to study voice and hear her voice a lot more publicly in the future! BRAVA, Ms. Jolie!!!!!
