He looks like a gentle old man now, but Bill Gates the CEO version was an absolutely vicious businessman. First off, he took an existing operating system called 86-DOS and then bought out the license to use it, repackaged it and sold it to IBM as PC-DOS while retaining the rights to sell the same version of DOS as MS-DOS to other companies, and that's how Microsoft started in the 80s. That's shrewd. And then in the 90s he directed Microsoft to be as anti-competitive as possible pushing out OS/2 (IBM), Lotus, WordPerfect, Netscape and many other companies out of the market. Bill Gates looks nice now but he had killer instinct.
Cut to the chase Jimmy...ask him what he thinks of Elon.
Bill Gates, one of the most Conservative guys in the Tech industry just said that we'll all be unemployed within the next 10 years and most of the comments just ignore that bombshell.
Lets see Paul allen's computer now
It's nice to see Jimmy calmer than usual in this interview, and engaged to listen rather than excitedly interrupt.
Who is here after the files got released
"we'll decide" was all to hear
*gotta probe him more about why he owns the most farmland in the USA*
To the untrained eye, almost look like a legitimate interview instead of a PR campaign 😂
A wolf dressed up in Mr.Rogers clothing.
WELCOME BACK BILL, THE EPSTEIN BRO
"This is about code, not design" - Awesome 😂
Two reptiles tricking humans. classic!
They are all in the epstein files!
Jimmy grow some Balls and ask him about Epstein!
I was born in South Africa in 1977. I contracted polio in 1979 that left me crippled. Thank you Gates, for your work to eradicate Polio in Africa
They should get Bill on Graham Norton UK talk show; that is unscripted and in its own league of talk shows, world class!!
This is a mission to make him look good
The problem with this is, that if nobody will have jobs, nobody will be able to afford and buy the products and services that are produced now almost exclusively by the AI machines. That's why the "AI race" is all backwards, at least from the perspective of common people. Countries who will "win" this race will fall into chaos, and only those will survive and prosper that curb AI usage. Of course billionares, like Gates and Musk would want their country to "win" the "AI race", because it would mean they would not have to pay people to do stuff for them, would not have to put up with unions, etc., but for Average Joe living in a country that's "winning the AI race" will be terrible.
Talking about making green stuff cheaper. That's the problem we have now. Every time I good green product comes out it costs more than the alternative. Like I've seen cutlery made of bamboo. If it costs 1 cent more than the plastic restaurants will give out the plastic.
