Man I can feel the awkwardness especially from the more grizzled, and aging actors who’ve been in this line work and have been professional all there careers, and are stuck having to answer some bizarre and ridiculous questions that don’t even correlate with the project.

When we decided that an “influencer “ was a thing, we were lost in the downward spiral of narcissism.

Sean Evans literally is a perfect example of how to do these types of interviews. So many guests have seemed so appreciative of his questions & research.

Hot Ones has become my favorite way to get to know celebrities nowadays because of the in depth questions he asks. I love it when a celebrity is pleasantly surprised with his research and how good his questions are, and it helps that he’s not just making the celebrity eat the wings, but he endures the pain with them, it creates an interesting kind of bond between interviewer and interviewee

Crazy people would still support "Call Her Daddy" or whatever. Why do we give the worst people the most attention/money? It's sad and depressing.

Omg this is so important to talk about because people don’t know how to talk to people like that anymore it’s like they have no questions prepared and just say the things TikTok would say even when you can tell they’re uncomfortable

I've been covering TIFF as a member of the press ever since 2018, and every single interview I attempt to get on the carpet has been something I like to thoroughly research, because I went to film school with the hopes of learning more about the process from the people involved. At this year's festival, I ended up doing very few interviews because I just knew I couldn't get these artists to share as much as they used to. I really appreciate you making this video, because even as someone trying to adapt to an Instagram model for the sake of accessibility, it's really frustrating seeing so many of these interviews be so shallow. And for someone like myself, who's trying to reach other film students, it's become very frustrating because our reach has slowly decreased as a result. Keep up the good work, Marina!

I studied journalism. Seven semesters. I did all the practical stuff, all the theoretical stuff. Now I see jobs with descriptions like „speak fluent gen z language“???? Most „journalism“ jobs are just social media manager jobs and I REFUSE to do these. Make a fool out of myself for a company I don’t even like, no thanks.
