I have stage four cancer. I don’t know how long I have left. The treatments that I’m receiving are quite effective and I have a 40% chance of surviving to five years if I remain on these treatments. Side effects are of course a consideration in quality of life and I have been hospitalized several times due to complications, but so far I’ve been doing fairly well and doing things that I enjoy. I’d like to get well enough to go back to work, but my job in live theater is fairly demanding and I’ve been too weak to work thus far. Olivia Newton-John is my favorite singer/actor/performer of all time, and she’s my inspiration in my cancer battle. She fought cancer with grace and gratitude, battling off and on for 30 years. I spend a tremendous amount of time listening to her music and rewatching her movies and TV appearances. However, this YouTube video has so many commercial breaks that I’m afraid I might not live long enough to make it through it. There’s no need to have two ads run every 90 seconds…except for extreme greed. Do better.

Yul Brynner was an incredible actor. I still say it's a crime that he didn't get an award for his performance in The Ten Commandments. He had a very powerful presence on both stage and screen.
Shannen Doherty faced Breast Cancer the same time i did. I'm cancer free for 13 Years now. Seeing this video makes me grateful.
Tammy Faye was, at heart, a loving, warm woman who got caught in the wake of her first husband's corruption. Like Diana and Liz Taylor, Tammy Faye was one of the first and only people who treated AIDS sufferers with compassion and love. may she RIP.
And a moment of silence needs to be given for those who have no such celebrity or resources. Those who wholeheartedly give their hard work, their compassion and their every effort, to spend their lives in service to others who are dying of cancer, suffering through great things, or in charity/support work in other ways, who die in relative anonymity. They die without anyone really knowing or celebrating a life well lived and a voice more quiet than many others. Died after doing what they can to relieve suffering, or being there for someone in their final moment to offer comfort. Many unsung heroes and brave peeps who devote their everything to helping others, and they'll never be in a list like this, because they never asked for anything in return, but they died from horrible things too. Thank you to all.
Tony Todd also gave an interview shortly before he passed away after reprising his role in Final Destination: Bloodlines. He'd kept his diagnosis quiet, but told the producers of the movie. His final lines in the movie were unscripted, and a farewell to his fans, telling them to "enjoy every moment." RIP Candyman, you truly were a movie legend.
I felt SO bad for Tammy Faye when she did that interview 💔😭 She looked and sounded like she was in tremendous agony

I’d add Alan Rickman on “The Tonight Show” inhaling helium. I don’t know if that was his true last interview, but it was the last time I saw him, and it was something that the last time really made me laugh.
My mom just passed from cancer at Christmas. I pray for everyone passing from this horrible disease.
Robert Urich was another one who gave an interview, I can't remember what it was, may have been Barbara Walters, in the mid 90's that broke down and was scared of dying of cancer. It was sad to see. If anyone out there knows the mini series Lonesome Dove, he played Jake Spoon the gambler. He was a great actor.

I remember seeing Val Kilmer a while before he passed away. He seemed to be fighting bravely.

Farrah Fawcett was one of the bravest women. She did so much to remove the shame and stigma of anal cancer. Sadly I’ve lost two friends recently to the same disease, both of whom put off going to a doctor until it was too late to help them.
