Theres a spectrum of possible outcomes after a job interview. You could get the job, be rejected, and getting arrested is way at the bottom of the list

Wow. I have to admit that quickly took a turn I wasn't expecting. That's really sad and credit to the officer because it's such a hard balancing act dealing with vulnerable people and those struggling with mental illness. I'm glad that this situation didn't end with a worse outcome and it's sad for all concerned. Puts some of my bad interview experiences in perspective....
