Discussing his newly released book titled 'Israel: What Went Wrong?', Bartov, who was born and raised in Israel, explains how Zionism, which emerged in the 19th century as an idea of Jewish emancipation, has morphed into a radical state ideology of ethno-nationalism centered on violent domination over Palestinians. Bartov argues that while Zionism as a political ideology cannot be reformed, the state of Israel can - but only if it abandons that very ideology. Heartbreaking
For almost 80 years, the people of Palestine have been persecuted, and the world has stood by and allowed this to happen. I am so sorry that I was ignorant to what these beautiful people have been subjected to. I will now make amends and share what I have learnt with others. 😢😢😢
