My moms a hoarder but also a clean freak so she keeps certain things or just place them in a very high place so she won’t be tempted to throw it away because of memories.
My mom gifted us our baby teeth for Christmas one year. Half of us found it sweet, the other half were disgusted. 😅 I was one of the sweet ones.

As a teen I always hated that she kept my hand turkeys and kindergarten poems n stuff but as an adult I cherish that shit and thank her for it and will do the same for my kids. Mother's keep everything
My mom moved out of our child hood house a couple years ago and I was helping her clean it out. I was looking in her walk in closest on top of one of the cabinets and found all of our baby teeth sitting up there all free and was absolutely disgusted she kept them and not only kept them just left them sitting up there for YEARS!
