You also need to remove air tower coolers. It can be ripped out of the motherboard, and interfere with the packing foam.

Literally moved 2 PCs from California to North Carolina, one of which was a Thermaltake 900 (one of the LARGEST tempered glass cases). Wrapped the Tower 900 in blankets, boxed the GPU, put it on a freight truck with the rest of our crap. My main PC (the glass Fractal North) rode with us. Just put that one in all of its original packaging and put the GPU in its own original box. We even had a flat and had to pull it out & put it back a few times to get to the spare compartment. Everything arrived just fine, even the giant case with tempered glass on 3 sides that rode in rented space in a literal freight truck. Just take out you GPU and any air coolers and everything else is isolated.

I moved mine about ten miles with the GPU in. I laid it on its side and took it real smooth. When I move I'm probably disassembling then rebuilding

I move my PC back and forth between college and home. 4 hour drive. I have two GPU supports and an AIO. We're chilling.
